13. service management
Service orders can now be deleted globally if they fulfill certain criteria. Employee references in service management are automatically removed when an employee is deleted. The definition of search and display fields has been centralized. Text modules have been moved to a central program and access rights can now be defined per user category.
13.1 MyAbacus (service technician portal)
The new service object portal enables service technicians to query data from various service objects. It includes dynamic navigation and a new mask definition for service objects. In addition, service orders and new service objects can now be created directly in the portal. These functions significantly improve efficiency and flexibility in service management.
13.2 MyAbacus (Ticketing)
A new widget displays the latest tickets on the dashboard. Overview lists and filters have been revised and now offer more customization options. Tickets can be automatically reopened when an email is received. In addition, an automatic translation function makes it possible to work with multilingual tickets.
13.3 Customer portal
The customer portal has been redesigned and now offers an improved overview and detailed views for tickets. Users can create new tickets and mark existing ones as private. A new overview list for service objects improves navigation. The simplified login and the option to define your own URLs make access easier.
13.4 Service order
A new batch/serial number dialog and the option to generate orders without a UI improve process automation. The "Book payment" function is now available directly in invoicing. Improvements to the search function and product restrictions on order types make order creation easier. New Calc fields and rounding rules improve integration with AbaBau.
