Can AHV contributions be optimized?

Since AHV contributions are payable on the salary, the pension can only be optimized via the salary paid out, e.g. also for partners working in the Businesses.

The amount of the AHV pension depends on the contribution period, the contributions made and any parental and/or care credits. We can calculate your expected AHV pension on the basis of the IC statement. You can also order a pension forecast from the compensation office.

The AHV pension can be withdrawn two years in advance. In the event of early withdrawal, the pension is reduced for life. Women born between 1961 and 1969 can take their AHV pension three years early (transitional generation AHV 21).

The AHV pension can be deferred for a maximum of 5 years. Depending on the length of the deferral, the pension supplement is 5.2 to 31.5 percent.
